Our clients, frequent visitors to Paris and seasoned European travelers, decided it was finally time to have a place of their own. When imagining their dream pied-à-terre, they had three non-negotiables: two bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of natural light, and a view that felt like Paris.

After an extensive search, one of our most trusted agent partners tipped us off to a hidden gem - a diamond in the rough - with soaring ceilings and a rare long view stretching down a charming street to the Seine. True to form with historic Parisian buildings, it came with its fair share of complexity. The property straddled two separate buildings, which meant double the due diligence with two different homeowners' associations. On top of that, older buildings often have limited plumbing infrastructure, so confirming the feasibility of a second toilet was essential before our clients could move forward. Thanks to our expert renovation network, we quickly identified the technical challenges, developed creative solutions, and delivered a clear, costed renovation plan.

A full renovation followed, and the incredible Ann Huff and her team at Huff Harrington Design transformed the apartment into a magical retreat. Over celebratory aperitifs, our clients laughed and confessed they'd originally planned to rent out the apartment when not in Paris? but the finished space was so enchanting, they simply couldn't bear to share it.
